World Food Day, observed annually on October 16th, serves as a global reminder of the pressing need to address food security and hunger issues worldwide. Established by the United Nations, this day aims to raise awareness about the importance of food as a fundamental human right and to advocate for sustainable agriculture and nutrition. It's a moment for governments, organizations, and individuals to unite, share knowledge, and take collective action to combat hunger, malnutrition, and food waste.
This year, our mission is to create lasting change in the lives of young children throughout the country by establishing sustainable food gardens at ECD centres, providing the staff with training and tools to maintain the garden, and supplying the ECD centre with their very own JoJo water tank!
In line with this, we invite you to join us by partnering and donating this World Food Day! Your generous donation of R10,000 will sponsor the establishment of a sustainable food garden, provide the staff with training and tools to maintain the garden, and supply the ECD centre with their very own JoJo water tank! Together, we can make a significant difference in addressing food security and nourishment for the children in our communities.
With your generous contribution, we'll not only provide them with nutritious meals but also teach them the importance of sustainability and self-reliance. Just imagine the smiles on the faces of those young minds as they witness the miracle of their very own food garden taking root.
But wait, there's more! With your donation, we're extending an exclusive invitation for your employees to roll up their sleeves and join us on World Food Day to help establish the food garden and hand over the donated water tank. It's an opportunity for your team to make a tangible impact and foster team spirit.
