The 2024 Mandela Day of Play campaign exemplifies values in action, leveraging the symbolic power of Mandela Day to drive tangible, developmental change for young children through upgraded outdoor play spaces.

The Dlala Play Programme is a play-based learning initiative developed by Inceba Trust in collaboration with FNB ECD, which equips ECD practitioners with the tools and confidence required to foster rich, structured, and joy-filled learning environments.

The Read and Play at Home is a highly collaborative, community‑based early learning programme that equips parents and caregivers in Nkomazi, Worcester and oPhongolo with the confidence, tools and books needed to build reading routines and playful interactions at home.

The DO MORE FOUNDATION’s critical partnership with Rama (a Siqalo Foods brand) has enabled the scaling of the EAT LOVE PLAY TALK (ELPT) parent and caregiver support programme into Boksburg and Bushbuckridge.

The 2024 Nkomazi ECD Imbizo brought together stakeholders from local government, NGOs to parents, educators and health workers, faith leaders, and the private sector for an honest, collaborative look at the challenges and possibilities in early childhood development.

At the DO MORE FOUNDATION, our commitment to social good is rooted in empowering communities, particularly through programmes focused on early learning and responsive caregiving. As our reach grows, so does the critical need for effective and efficient data collection. This challenge, identified by our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) officer, Thea Wynne, led to the development of the DMF Chatbot which was a leap forward in harnessing artificial intelligence and big data for social good.
